Policy
This is a personal blog and the opinions expressed herein are my own and do not reflect upon any other person or group, including the Marshall Aid Commemoration Commission, Durham University, Cambridge University, Stanford University, or University of California.
I have no intent of using this blog as a “rumour mill,” or a place to “dig up dirty laundry” about anything. I have the utmost respect for the people, places, and groups that I write about, otherwise I wouldn’t write about them. If I have mistakenly written something inappropriate, a polite anonymous comment notifying me will result in a quick fix.
Readers are welcome to leave comments on pages to express their own thoughts or to make corrections. However, I reserve the right to remove comments that are impolite, off-topic, or otherwise spam.
Examples of human-generated comments that I have removed:
- [paraphrased] You said the cost of a scrambled egg is $X but it’s really $Y, you’re a jerk! (I gave the cost of the total breakfast, not an individual item.)
- “Way to fabricate a story out of some imaginary experience you had.” (Unless I state otherwise, experiences that I relate are given to the best of my memory.)
- “You are totally annoying and culturally encapsulated.” (The author wrote a follow-up comment that had a more polite and reasoned critique of my post, which I have kept up.)

is there any way we can communicate with you, FlipTomato?
Also an American doing Physics in the UK, although at the “other” University. I work on hadron phenomenology mostly at non pQCD energies. So I sit somewhere between Nuclear and Particle Physics.
I ran across your blog while trying to figure out how to do a certain two loop diagram I am encountering which has been bugging me. Like you did, I have an irrational fear of loop diagrams but I should get over it.
I wanted to drop you a line and say hello, feel free to get in touch and thanks for the integral tips.
