In cond-mat, they wash their hands

Just a random thought for the day:
I spent a couple of years as an undergrad doing research in a cond-mat/materials science building. It was the only place where people would consistently wash their hands before they went to the restroom.

I hope they wash their private parts too not only their hands, I can’t imagine someone answering the call of nature without using water when it is available
